Watching Ritz Riot is like watching 5 years olds eat 10 pounds of sugar followed by chasing it down with a four loko. They are made up of Shirley Wight (Vocals/Keys) Taylor Bowen (Guitar/Vocals), Alex Caprero ( Drums), and Tommy Quid (Keyboard/Vocals) . They all native New Yorkers. Ritz Riot started out as a duo with just Taylor and Shirley. They were first an anarchal punk duo. As time passed their sound changed with the joining of their drummer Alex . They draw inspiration from punk, new wave, post-punk, shoegaze, triphop, 1960's pop, and comedy. They put on awesome shows with a lot of energy .
